 Il Gelso is a pleasant, detached rural cottage, is suitable for 2 persons sleeping in the main double bedroom plus 2 using a sofa bed in the livingroom. The Cottage is adorned and almost submersed into a lush and luxuriant vegetation, is a haven of quietness, privacy and relaxation. In the shadow of the foliage of a mulberry trees, "en plein air",  you can relax, have breakfast , have a candle-lit dinner  or simply lie down on a comfortable sunbed and watch the breathtaking view of the sea and the Aeolian Islands while sipping a good glass of Sicilian wine. A path cutting across the property will easily lead you to our private beach in a few steps and, when coming back from your swiming session, you will have the chance to get rid of the salt on your skin using the outdoor shower. 

   The old Sicilian forniture is quite comfortable and gives a homely feel. The main spacious double BR, equipped with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, has two windows overlooking the countryside andthe far distant ruins of Gioiosa Guardia. An hallway gives access to the en-suite bathroom with a built-in shower and to the livingroom. The living/dining room is furnished with an extra fold away double sofa bed and TV set. The kitchenette has all necessary equipment such as cooking utensils, 4 burners, fridge and freezer.   

FREE Internet WiFi, Sat TV, garden furniture are provided. Cot and high chair available upon request. Parasols and sun deck chairs are available on our private area of the sandy beach where a FREE WiFi zone is available to our guests.
